Important Disclosures about
AAA Oregon AutoSource LLC ("AutoSource")
OREGON BROKER/DEALER DISCLOSURE
- As a licensed Oregon vehicle dealer, AutoSource both provides vehicle brokerage services and maintains its own inventory of vehicles for sale. This disclosure is provided to you pursuant to ORS 822.047.
- To satisfy your needs, AutoSource may provide you with brokerage services which may include researching, locating and arranging the purchase or lease of one or more vehicles designated by you from another dealer.
- AutoSource will receive a fee for any brokerage services it provides.
- Any such fee will either be:
a. included in the purchase price or capitalized cost of your vehicle and will be paid to AutoSource by the seller or lessor upon delivery of the vehicle; or
b. reflected in the purchase price or capitalized cost as listed on our purchase order or lease agreement and will be paid to AutoSource upon delivery of the vehicle; or
c. paid separately by you to AutoSource upon delivery of the vehicle. In that case, no additional compensation shall be received by AutoSource from the seller or lessor of the vehicle.
- The specific way in which the fee will be collected will be determined on the basis of the vehicle you select and the source of the vehicle. The way in which the fee is collected will be disclosed to you in writing prior to completion of your transaction.
- You may be required to remit to AutoSource a deposit to be credited towards the purchase or lease of a vehicle resulting from brokerage services as described above. You will be informed of the amount of the deposit at the time it is requested. The deposit will be forwarded to the seller or lessor of the vehicle.
- Any warranty, including an extended warranty, on any vehicle you purchase or lease as a result of AutoSource's brokerage services will be offered through the vehicle manufacturer or other third party. AutoSource will not be responsible for any warranty service work on any such vehicle. To satisfy your needs, AutoSource may offer to provide you with an extended warranty. If that occurs, AutoSource will receive a fee. Any such fee will either be paid directly to AutoSource by the extended warranty provider, or will be included in the charge you pay for the extended warranty.
- To satisfy your needs, AutoSource may also offer to arrange financing for the purchase or lease of your vehicle. If so, AutoSource may receive additional compensation from you for arranging the financing (which may be in the form of a fee, paid to us by you or the loan or lease provider, or additional loan points) and the interest rates we quote for such financing may be negotiable.
- If you trade in a vehicle, AutoSource is not acting as your agent with respect to the trade-in, and AutoSource may receive additional compensation on its subsequent sale of the trade-in vehicle.
- To satisfy your needs, AutoSource may also offer, or provide information to you regarding, vehicles in AutoSource's own inventory. If that occurs, AutoSource will not be acting as your agent with respect to any such vehicle, and you will be free to negotiate the purchase price of such vehicle. Before completing any sale of a vehicle from its own inventory, AutoSource will confirm to you that it is not acting as your agent with respect to such sale or lease.
