Whether you are sightseeing in Sydney or have business in Berlin, save time by purchasing foreign currency before you go. Members may order foreign currency and foreign currency TipPaks® through their local Service Center. (Please check with your local Service Center to determine availability and handling fees.)
Foreign Currency in the most popular currencies (25) are available within three business days. Other currencies used in 50 countries may be special ordered based on market conditions and can be picked up at your local Service Center in five business days.
- Members can avoid line hassles, high fees and unfavorable exchange rates typically offered in airports, hotels and foreign banks by purchasing foreign currency before leaving the United States.
- Cash on hand comes in handy for taxis, tips, incidentals, and other situations in which plastic may not be accepted.
- Members can exchange unused foreign currency through our buy back mailer program.
Direct Phone Orders
Foreign currencies (not including TipPaks®) may be ordered for shipment directly to your home by calling 1-888-626-2027 and select Option 1. Please have your AAA membership number available.
AAA TipPaks®
TipPaks are the most convenient and quick way to obtain a small amount of foreign currency and/or coins if you are traveling to one of the more popular destinations.

Purchasing TipPaks
TipPaks are exclusively available at participating local Service Centers. (Please check with your local Service Center to determine availability). Please call in advance to determine availability and denominations.
Terms and Conditions
TipPaks are a convenience pack of specially packaged foreign currency. AAA will be selling this foreign currency to you at the exchange rate disclosed on the front of the sealed package. Exchange rates change frequently, and the exchange rate available from other parties for this same amount of currency may be higher or lower depending on the date and time of the sale. Because of the volatility of exchange rates, all sales of TipPaks are final.
*Wells Fargo Bank is the supplier of all foreign currency including the prepackaged currency known as TipPaks.
